It’s that time of the week again! I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend.

For this week’s Nicole’s Corner post, I will be talking to you guys about my most recent vacation to California and Las Vegas. Yes… I went on a 2 for 1 vacation.

In life, you have to set goals and going to California was a huge goal of mine as long as I can remember. This was definitely a vacation that I have felt the most independent. I planned the whole trip myself. This was also a kind of a research trip because another goal of mine is to eventually move there.

For the first five days, we were in California. We went to Disneyland, Huntington Beach, Hollywood Walk of fame, and even got a chance to drive down the famous Pacific Coast Highway. While in Disney we also went to their other park, California Adventure where we got to see an incredible water show that took my breath away!

The highlight of the California part of the vacation was definitely Huntington Beach. Not only did I get to relax on a beach in California but I also got to go into the Pacific Ocean!! The waves were huge but it was an unforgettable experience. I would have never been able to do this being attached to a ventilator. Thanks to my Breathing Pacemaker which stimulates my diaphragm I would not have gotten this amazing opportunity.

The last three days we spent in Las Vegas. This was my first time visiting Vegas and it was so much fun! I got to see some incredible shows and see the City lit up at night.

The highlight of Vegas was going on the High Roller. The High Roller raises you up 550 feet. Being this high I was able to see the entire Las Vegas strip. We took pictures and had lots of fun!

I can’t wait to go back again to both places! Talk to you all next week! Please leave comments or questions that you have for me or about the Breathing Pacemaker.
