ABD is pleased to announce our attendance at the upcoming Howard H. Steel Conference: Injuries and Dysfunction of the Spinal Cord in Children. This conference is supported by Shriners Hospitals for Children and will take place in the Hilton at the Walt Disney World Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Florida November 29 - December 2, 2006.

"After completion of this program, participants should be better able to:
• Discuss ways to improve the medical and allied health services provided to children with SCI;
• Examine contemporary management of children with spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction;
• Discuss new directions in medicine and technology as they relate to the innovative management of children with spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction;
• Identify complex problems of specific patients and/or patient groups with experts in pediatric spinal cord injury and spinal dysfunction;
• Provide a reference of conference topics through publication of proceedings of the conference;
• Review the difference between patients with spinal cord injury and patients with spinal dysraphism."
