Hi everyone…Happy Monday!!! Hope you all are enjoying your summer so far.
For this week’s experience, I would like to share with you the first time I was able to independently travel with my girlfriends on a cruise to the Bahamas.
I was able to do this with my breathing pacemaker and being vent free!
On May 22nd 2015 my friends and I boarded the cruise ship and we sailed off to the Bahamas and Florida. Every morning we woke up to beautiful clear blue ocean and sunny weather. While on the ship I was able to go in the pool and attend shows almost every night.
Our first stop was Florida! While there we visited family, and went to Disney 🙂 We did some exploring and got to enjoy the day.
Our next stop was the Bahamas! This was definitely the highlight of the trip. I got an amazing opportunity to experience swimming with the dolphins. I was able to get in the water, take pictures and even kiss the dolphin who was named Kelly. She was so playful and smart. I will never forget this day! Everyone was so accommodating and I recommend this experience to everyone.
I always try to live life to the fullest and try my best to help and inspire others. I would have never been able to swim with the dolphins if I was vent dependent and didn’t have the breathing pacemaker.
Please feel free to leave comments or questions! Would love to speak with all of you.
